We Love What We Do

Hillcrest Networks designs incubator plans that fit our client's specific needs. Emerging applications for new technology and innovation are driving the tech economy right now and we can help early-stage founders become a part of it.

When Hillcrest Networks identifies a candidate for our program, we meet with you to discuss your technology and its potential. Then we take a deep look into several metrics that aid our decision process:

Technical roadmap

This tells us where you are now and where you plan to be, including specific innovations and inventions you have pioneered or developed. While we are always on the lookout for disruptive new tech, we and our investors place a large value on tech that drives efficiency, automation, and other business process improvements for existing tech, because we find those often display a clearer path to profitability and full maturity.

Business roadmap

We take a look at your finances, current partners and investors, key personnel and management strategies. We often find that these areas offer us the most chance to contribute meaningful assistance in the form of mentorship, planning, finance and other business-related functions. Making the move from technically sound idea to fully structured company is an important step in the process that requires the specific experience you'll find from Hillcrest Networks.

Market roadmap

We plan to help with this too, but we like to see where you're starting from. Establishing a target customer is an important early process that helps you create a clear marketing and business development plan. We can assist with research, proof-of-concept and other tasks that inform your overall strategy.

Reach out and take the first steps

Applicants that show promise in these three categories are qualified to join our program. Our decision is based not only on your own merits, but also the current makeup of our incubator program. Collaboration and idea-sharing are key benefits of our program, so we select clients that both fit with our vision and complement the businesses and technologies that are already working under our program's umbrella.

A Tip for Applying

Part of our application process requires you to provide a very brief summary of your business. The shorter the better, because it shows us that you understand your company and its potential and can communicate your understanding. Your sentence should include a specific offering, your target audience, what problem it solves and how unique your solution is.
